The iPhone 4 and me

Today a couple of co-workers have been battling the heat in hopes of owning their own iPhone 4, thus preserving their early-adopter status.

Sadly, I am not there standing amid a mass of sweaty Apple fanboys.

I’ve realized that even though I drool and slobber over every new announcement (I even own my very own Macbook Pro), I have yet to take the plunge into the early-adopter pool. Part of it comes from the fact that being an early-adopter of anything requires a personal Fort Knox; but the other part is that the new iPhone hasn’t put me over the top. I’m still not liking the AT&T exclusivity (I get awesome service from T-mobile).

I guess for now I will have to get by with my Dash…

The Return…

A very long time ago, I started playing around with WordPress (I think just before version 2).  Back then, I was still working my way through college and hoping that I’d be able to establish myself as a web developer.

Since then, I have graduated with a degree in Engineering Management. While my current job title isn’t “Engineering Manager,” I find a lot of uses for things I have learned in college in my current line of work.

I’ve tried off and on for years to maintain some sort of blog but I usually lose focus or interest eventually and the posts start to dwindle. Maybe this time I can keep it going.

At the same time, since I haven’t played around with WordPress in the last couple of releases, I am curious to see what kinds of capabilities this sucker has.
